If you look at the turn order, you only check your held cards after the conclusion of the action rounds. Therefore, even if you still technically hold a scoring card immediately after you play your last AR card, it's only after the conclusion of the action rounds (by which time you'll have discarded the scoring card) when it is checked, and you would subsequently be flogged for holding a scoring card, if you hold a scoring card.↧
